Terms of use & licence agreement

1. Demo and free trial

You can install TezBill and set it up at no cost, and we are happy to show it to you with your own menu before you buy. Billing needs a licence key. A free trial is given only when we offer one to a specific restaurant, for the period we state; when it ends, billing stops until a licence is bought, and your data stays on your PC.

2. Licence

• TezBill is licensed, not sold. A licence costs ₹7,999 per outlet per year, with all features included.
• Each licence is for one outlet and, unless we agree otherwise, one PC. Captain-app phones and kitchen displays on the same restaurant Wi-Fi are included.
• The licence runs for one year. You renew it by paying again for the next year.
• After the licence expires there is a 15-day grace period during which billing continues. After that, billing pauses until you renew, but your reports and data stay available to you.
• Payments are made by UPI to Quieto Solutions LLP. Your licence key is sent to you on WhatsApp.
• Updates released during your licence period are free.

3. What you may not do

• Resell, rent, sublicense, share or transfer your licence or licence key to anyone else;
• Use one licence for more outlets or PCs than it covers;
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile TezBill, or remove or bypass its licence checks;
• Use TezBill for anything unlawful, including issuing false or misleading bills or evading tax.

4. Your responsibilities

• GST and bills: you are responsible for the correctness of your own bills — including GST rates, HSN codes, your GSTIN, prices and tax filings. TezBill is a tool to help you; it does not give tax advice.
• Backups: your data is stored on your own PC. TezBill takes an automatic daily backup on the same PC, but you are responsible for keeping copies elsewhere (for example on a USB drive) and for the safety of your PC.
• Keep your staff PINs and owner password private, and give staff only the permissions they need.
• Use a genuine, working Windows 10 / 11 PC and compatible printers.

5. Data and privacy

How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy.

6. Hardware

Optional hardware kits are sold separately and carry the manufacturer’s 1-year warranty. Delivery is covered by our shipping policy and returns by our refund policy.

7. No warranty

We work hard to keep TezBill reliable, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will be free of every error or work with every printer or PC. We will make reasonable efforts to fix problems you report.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Quieto Solutions LLP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to TezBill is limited to the licence fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending the licence

You may stop using TezBill at any time. We may end your licence if you seriously breach these terms. Fees already paid are refundable only as set out in our refund policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use TezBill after a change means you accept it.

11. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
